“Check out my new surfboard”-@rossr5
-rolls eyes- I can hear the fangirls now. “Oh, you’re so hunkyyyy!” But, nice surfboard! We do need to go to the beach soon, don’tcha think? Maybe surfing’s the next thing you can teach me how to do :D
Aha, so you think I’m hunky? ;P But thanks anyways. :) We SHOULD go to the beach! I would gladly tech you to surf, as long as you don’t injure me again. ;)
No, your fangirls think you’re hunky!(: But you’re welcome anyways. Okay! We’ll do it soon. But don’t think you’re going to bury me in the sand or anything. I hate sand! :P Oh, gosh -blushes- I won’t let that EVER happen again! D:
All I caught from that was “Think you’re hunky.” ;D Fine, I won’t bury you in sand… but I just might splash you with water. :3 Then you can bury ME in sand! And don’t worry about it, what’s past is past. Hopefully, things will go better when I teach you to surf. :)
:)
Oh, unsuspecting me(: not the first time this has happened, huh Austin?
Nope, not at all! Just me being a creeper, aha. :P
The Moon residence was a cute suburban home, quite appealing and welcoming to a Dawson. Specifically Allison Marie Dawson. Ally felt drawn in and pleasant as she walked up the path of stepping stones to the porch. It was in a cute, quiet neighborhood not far from Sonic Boom, there were lots of pretty flowers and trees that offered shade. Ally smoothed her skirt and took a deep, readjusting the bag on her shoulder. She knocked a couple times and said tentatively, “Hey, uh, Austin? It’s Ally…here…at your door.”
Austin: Austin ran through his house like a madman, making sure everything was ready. Pancake mix. Check. Brownie Mix. Double Check. “Life As We Know It” DVD. Check. Austin’s underwear on the couch… WAIT, UNDERWEAR ON THE COUCH?!
He dashed towards the couch and grabbed the pair on boxer shorts just as he heard a knock on the door. He heard Ally’s voice coming from outside, his heart pounding in his chest as he ran up the stairs.
“JUST A MINUTE!” he yelled, making his way towards his room. He quickly threw the shorts into his closet and bounded down the stairs, checking his hair in the foyer mirror before opening the front door.
“Hey, Ally,” he greeted, smiling and gesturing grandly for her to enter.(Oh my gosh, did I really use cute three times in that passage? I DISGUST MYSELF. edited it!)
Ally:“JUST A MINUTE!” she heard a distant, familiar voice yell. Ally shook her head and laughed. Leaving stuff to the last minute. That was Austin, all right. She was still laughing when he swung open the door with grandeur. “Hey, Ally,” Austin said in a collected, smooth voice.
“Hey you,” she replied, stepping inside the door. “I didn’t know how much topping y’all would have, but my dad LOVES them. So I brought sprinkles, jelly beans, sour patch kids, M & Ms, to name a few. All that sickeningly junky stuff.” Ally winked at him teasingly. “Just kidding, of course. But I was wondering what Life as We Know It is about?”
Austin: Austin smiled, looking at the pile of toppings with wide eyes. “We have a few, but I think this is more than enough,” he said with a chuckle, walking towards the living room. “Well, “Life As We Know It” is basically about two people that hate each other, but they both have to sort of come together to take care of their goddaughter.” He plopped down on the couch, looking through the pile of DVDs on the coffee table. “Most of it is pretty funny, and it’s a great movie, you’re gonna love it!” He smiled as he came across the DVD, putting it on the couch. “So, should we make our pancakes and cookies first, or watch the movie?”
Ally followed behind him into the living room. “That sounds like a good movie, I don’t know why I’ve never seen it before!” she said excitedly, sitting next to Austin on the couch and picking up the DVD to examine it. “Austin, you know I don’t really care what we do first…maybe pancakes, then movie, and if we still feel like it, cookies.” Ally grinned and looked back into her back at the…very large amount of toppings.
Austin nodded his head, rubbing his hands together. “Alright, then it’s settled!” he said grandly, standing up from the couch with a slight bounce. “We’ll make our pancakes and cookies and then snack on them as we watch the movie!” He held his hand out to help Ally off the couch, flexing his eyebrows. “Shall I escort you to the kitchen, Lady D?”
(ooc: apologies, I think my last post was a little boring :P)
Ally took his hand and stood up from the couch. “Yes, you may,” she said, holding onto his hand as he led the way to the kitchen. “So, Austin, I must know if you’ve really ever cooked anything before? Making pancakes isn’t really like, I don’t know, ramen noodles or window-burgers,” she rambled. “And I hope you aren’t getting any bright ideas about a food fight—owww!” Ally said suddenly, squeezing Austin’s hand out of pain. “These—these stupid high heels are too high!” she exclaimed. “I kind of fell off one. Oh, I am so returning these!” Ally was in full venting mode. “Do you mind if I take my shoes off?” but she had already taken the four and a half inch spike heel sandals off and held them in one hand. “Trish said I needed to learn to walk in really high heels so I can wear them to music award shows, but these just kill me! I thought today would be good practice.” she moaned. “And my ankle hurts. First yours, now mine!” she said, in a weak attempt to joke.
Austin laughed, shurgging his shoulders. “Why do you have to wear heels at awards shows anyway? I think you look great either way.” He looked at the heels she was holding and gently grabbed them from her. “May I?” he asked, holding the heels up before tossing them into the living room with a small thump. He smiled and rubbed his hands together mischievously, making his way toward the pantry and opening it up to get the pancake and cookie mix. “Don’t worry,” he said as he dug around and found what he was searching for, “I’ve cooked before. Granted, with help from mom, but it’s simple enough to make sweets.” Austin grabbed some bowls and spoons from the cabinets and turned to face Ally. He grinned at her, raising an eyebrow before asking, “You ready, Allinator?”
